NORA Bronze – Two Week Basic Oil Heat Program

After 10 days of concentrated fundamental classroom theory, coupled with practical laboratory work, including hands-on experience on a variety of live-fire equipment, you will acquire a solid foundation of knowledge. This training, along with field experience, will help build careers as installation and service technicians that will become an asset to you and your customers.
Bronze Certificate of Training will be awarded to each student who completes the course and passes the examination. The test is based on the NORA OilHeat Technician’s Manual, which is used for Silver Certification. Requirements: There is some study assignments required to be done by the students in the evening during the course. Therefore, students should consider this in fulfillment of the program.

Instructor: Alan Mercurio has over 27 years of industry experience in various roles including service technician, equipment sales, and service manager. Today he is an industry author, consultant, educator, trainer and proctor. He holds certificates as a Master Technician in the State of Pennsylvania, Silver certificate from the PPA, NORA Gold Certified and is EPA Certified by the VGI Training center, as a type I and type II Air Conditioning Technician. He’s the past president and founder of the Susquehanna Valley Chapter of OESP (Formerly NAOHSM), is on OESP’S Education committee and a sub-committee for NORA.Learn More – View Registration Flyer
