Seminar #3: 10 Years, 5 Years, 3 Years, 1 Year – Trends and Plans for Energy Marketers

Time: 10:30 am – 11:20 am

Should you expand through acquisition? Should you just ride it out or maybe pack it in and run for the hills (or Florida)?  Before answering, you need to consider what your company is going to look like in ten years or five years or next year, if you stay on your present course.

Attendees will be shown statistics on growth and attrition trends in the delivered fuel industry.  You will see how these trends have affected energy marketers and will continue to affect them into the future.  Learn how some savvy marketers have gone against the trends to continue to grow and prosper.  If you are not in it for the long term then we will explore some mid-term and short-term strategies to maintain maximum profitability and enhance company value.  This is one of those business programs where you will walk away with a clearer vision for your business.

Warning:  Some of the information contained in this presentation will shock you, but you need to know it.

On January 8, 2019 Governor Wolf signed a new executive order setting a statewide goal of reducing greenhouse gas emissions by 26 percent by 2025 and 80 percent by 2050 from 2005 levels. This initiative will directly target fossil fuels by potentially introducing policies geared toward capping and reducing carbon emissions from the power sector. Carbon emissions would be taxed with the intention of using the funds towards investing in green technology and infrastructure.

This seminar will further explain these potential programs and address how our industry and adapt to the challenges they create.
