PPA builds on SEI partnership in 2017


In 2016 the PPA partnered with the Smart Energy Initiative (SEI) to offer up to 50% off reimbursement costs for a few different classes. So far this year there are 15+ classes that are now eligible for this reimbursement! SEI is a an initiative of the Chester County Economical & Development Council (CCEDC) who administers grant funding provided by the PA Department of Labor and Industry. The following PPA classes have been approved for up to 50% in registration reimbursements:

March 6th – 17th NORA Bronze Two Week Basic Oil Heat Program
April 4th Riello Burners
April 20th Hydronics & Condensing Gas Boilers
April 25th Beckett Burners
April 26th Troubleshooting High Efficiency Gas Furnaces
May 2nd Carlin Residential Gas Burners
May 8th – 19th NORA Bronze Two Week Basic Oil Heat Program
May 17th Riello Burners
June 6th HM-126F Certification & HazMat CSA Training
June 6th DOT Compliance Management Seminar
June 6th NORA Gold – Oil Tank Installation & Maintenance
June 7th HM-126F Certification & HazMat CSA Training
June 7th DOT Compliance Management Seminar
June 7th NORA Gold – Oil Tank Installation & Maintenance
June 8th HM-126F Certification & HazMat CSA Training
June 8th DOT Compliance Management Seminar
June 9th HM-126F Certification & HazMat CSA Training
June 14th Carlin Light Commercial – Oil & Gas Systems

In order to receive those funds the following must occur:

1. Already attended or pre-registered for a class listed above
2. Attendee must be a PA resident
3. Payment must be made in full to the PPA for the class registration
4. A Company Training Waiver must be returned to SEI (to be completed by a company representative)
5. A Grant Application must be filled out and returned to SEI
6. A Course Evaluation Form must be filled out by attendees at the end of the class (this will be provided for future classes)
