COVID-19 is impacting our members and communities across the state. On March 16, 2020, Governor Wolf strongly urged non-essential businesses statewide to shut down and residents avoid all nonessential travel over the entire state until March 31 in an attempt to slow the spread of the COVID-19. The following press release provides more details on what industries and services are defined as essential or non-essential. The PPA will continue to work with our government partners to express the importance of responsible operations for gas stations, distribution, transportation, and home repairs.
Our association will be taking every step possible to ensure our membership is receiving the information and guidance they need to navigate through this evolving situation. For additional information, please visit our Coronavirus (COVID-19) Resources on the PPA website. If you need anything or have any questions please do not hesitate to contact us.
The PPA Propane Committee exists to represent the growing number of PPA active members who already have or will be entering the propane marketplace. The committee will help steer the association in identifying propane educational opportunities that can be integrated into the evolving PPATEC training program. The committee will also help guide the association in addressing potential governmental affairs opportunities that would benefit both propane and heating oil marketers.
